Assassin’s Creed Valhalla achievement list reportedly leaked1st April 2020
Ubisoft’s next Assassin’s Creed game has been hotly tipped to be Viking-themed with many previous leaks suggesting it would be entitled ‘Ragnarök’.
Last year, an insider at the studio let the cat out of the bag to eGaming Desk when we reported the same news.
Soon after, various images and listings appeared on sites across the word suggesting there would be two premium editions, one under the name of ‘Mjolnir’ and the other ‘Valhalla’.
The former is a reference to Thor’s iconic hammer while the other is the Nordic word for Heaven.
However, the listings were quickly downplayed with many swift to highlight how they appeared fake.
At this point, doubts began to sink in and some questioned whether Ubisoft’s next title would even focus on Viking culture.
There has now been a leak detailing all the achievements that can be unlocked for the next project and the game’s name will reportedly be Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
Interestingly, one of them suggests there will be a four player co-operative feature, which is drastically different to the franchise’s roots that has always been a single player experience.
Another reveals how the legendary giant world-eating snake Jormungandr – who some might recognise from God of War (2018) – will be a boss fight.
An image detailing the achievements can be found here, though it originally appeared on 4Chan which leaves room for doubt since it is not a verified source.
As such, until Ubisoft confirms the name for the next Assassin’s Creed game it remains to be seen which time period it will detail.
Though, given the numerous leaks over the past several months, an exploration of Viking culture seems most probable.
