Blood donors land free copies of Code Vein at TwitchCon
Copies of Code Vein are being given away at TwitchCon this weekend for anyone who signs-up to donate blood to the American Red Cross.
The upcoming action role-playing game, widely slated as ‘Anime Souls’ in reference to the popular Dark Souls series is heavily inspired by Japanese anime and themes.
Set in a post-apocalyptic and dystopian world, it features an abundance of vampire themes – including bonuses from the consumption of blood.
TwitchCon is a popular event hosted by the streaming giant Twitch and is regularly held in different countries and locations across the world. This weekend sees San Diego, California, as the host city.
It is an event where countless streamers and viewers from across the globe travel to meet-up, play games and hang out with like-minded individuals.
Bandai Namco US, in conjunction with the American Red Cross charity, will be running a promotion during the TwitchCon event where anyone who signs up and donates blood to the American Red Cross will receive a free copy of Code Vein.
Announcing the promotion on Facebook, Bandai Namco wrote: “The Lost aren’t the only ones who need your blood! On September 27th, celebrate the CODE VEIN launch by donating blood to those in need.”
Code Vein is scheduled for release tomorrow, timed for the opening of the San Diego TwitchCon. Sign-ups for blood donations are currently being taken on the American Red Cross website.
