Call of Duty: Warzone Season 6 subway system map revealed25th September 2020
The official Call of Duty Twitter account has posted a screenshot confirming the long-rumoured existence of a subway system for Warzone.
The popular free-to-play battle royale game has enjoyed much success since it first debuted back in March.
Throughout its numerous seasons, there have been several changes made to the Verdansk map, such as the opening of Stadium and the inclusion of a roaming train.
While the former was a fairly substantial change, the latter failed to add much variety to the game mode.
However, for a while now there have been persistent rumours that claimed a subway system would be implemented at some point to shake Warzone up.
The speculation gained some credence during a recent Call of Duty League event where a peculiar structure was spotted that isn’t featured in the map that everyone can play.
With Season 6 mere days away, the subway system has now been confirmed by the makers of the game after a picture visually portraying it was posted on Twitter.
Where we stopping? 🚇🗺️

The subway system will contain seven stops located fairly centrally in the Verdansk map that will allow players to quickly navigate between them.
The image is accompanied by a message that reads:
“Please Be Advised: In the event of an environmental hazard occurring at train station, train will continue operation to the next nearest safe station on the line.”
This is likely a reference to the deadly gas that gradually forces the occupiable area to become smaller as competitors vie to be the winner of the battle royale.
As such, if players are looking to make a quick break into the ring as the circle closes, they are going to need to time when they hop onto the subway correctly, or else they might get caught out and subsequently eliminated.
