Pornhub releases most-searched games and characters for 2019

Each year pornography site Pornhub collects information on its users most-search videos, categories and almost anything that can be equated into data.

Surprisingly, this includes video games. Even more surprisingly is the list of titles at the top of the list for 2019.

At number one is none other than the popular Overwatch game which has bested Fortnite and Pokémon, coming in at second and third respectively.

Following behind them, in this order, is Minecraft, Apex Legends, Resident Evil, Mortal Kombat, Skyrim, Borderlands and The Witcher.

Likewise, the top ten video games characters searched on Pornhub is eclipsed by Overwatch.

Taking the top spot is Zelda (The Legend of Zelda) with Lara Croft (Tomb Raider) at second and D.Va (Overwatch) at third.

After the top three comes Super Mario (Super Mario Bros), Bowsette (Super Mario Bros), Mercy (Overwatch), Mei (Overwatch), Ada Wong (Resident Evil 2), Ashe (Overwatch) and Brigitte (Overwatch).

Pornhub has even gone so far as to rank the top ten video game character searches which have seen the most growth in 2019.

Reigning at the top is Nina (Tekken) up by 1,224% followed by Maya (Borderlands) at 791% while Aqua (Kingdom Hearts) sits at third with a growth of 681%.

At fourth is Sonya Blade (Mortal Kombat) who has been searched 511% more than last year then Pikachu (Pokémon) who is up by 372% and then Jade (Mortal Kombat) who has seen an increase in searches by 323%.

Ada Wong – who appears in the top ten most searched characters – has a growth search rate of 288% followed by Zelda with 138% then Andromeda (Mass Effect) at 132% and finally D.Va at 102%.
