Music superstar Logic is set to exclusively stream on Twitch after signing a lucrative deal that will reportedly net him seven figures.

The rapper – whose real name is Sir Robert Bryson Hall II – recently announced that he will be retiring after his next studio album debuts.

While he will no longer be making rap music, Hall will still be entertaining fans through live streams on Twitch after signing a deal with the platform.

The move itself isn’t too surprising, as the rapper has long been a fan of video games and is already an active user of the site.

“I think its a powerful platform that allows me to connect with my fans in the best way possible,” he said to The Verge.

“This is the place where if you want to interact with me, you’re going to do it here.

“I’m not going to be on Twitch, having political debates. I’m going to be on Twitch, helping people after they’ve had a day of protesting or political debates, unwind and laugh and smile.

“And if you want to know how I feel about the world, you listen to my music.”

He also revealed that money wasn’t a leading motivator behind the partnership, though, he did say in the same interview that he would earn seven figures as a result of it.

Logic’s sixth and final studio album – No Pressure – will premiere on the rapper’s first Twitch Partner stream three days before its official release on July 24, 2020.
